First, an ExtraContent-ish sort of theme popped up from Rapid Refills called D Scribe. While Nick, Rapid Refills developer, doesn’t go so far as to call it ExtraContent enabled, it does use similar technology. Nick prefers to call his implementation “Blurbs” instead, but the idea is the same by adding extra content in one place and having it show up in another. Perhaps if we all lean on him a little, he’ll make the implementation common to what we now enjoy in ExtraContent making the experience a familiar one… ;) Anyhow, you can join the RapidWeaver forum discussion here.

bohemianThe next ExtraContent enabled theme to pop up over the weekend was Bohemian from RapidWeaver developer extraordinaire, Henk Vrieselaar. Bohemian is an official ExtraContent theme that makes use of 4 ExtraContent areas; one above and below the main content area (useful for blogs, photo albums, contact forms and Kwix pages without much in the way of content options), one above the footer and one in the sidedbar. In addition to ExtraContent Henk has packed this theme full of many other options such as over 30 header options and effects, over 60 background options for various areas of the page, font control, width variations, banner zest integration and much more.
